Pricey but worth it

(4.6 out of 5 stars)

I paid maybe too much for my unit last year but I love this having direct subway access to Yonge plus Sheppard line, plus the food court, dry cleaner, phone repair, drug store right in the building. My floor has 14 foot ceilings and is same floor as pool, hot tub, bar b q terrace, gym are - plus guest suites for when my family visits). Super convenient! I walk my dog in the nice neighbourhood to the west and there's a little park with fountain - nice vibe and not a 'hang out' (more mothers and office workers ). "Minimalist" lobby but hey really you just walk through it - no need to be impressive imo.

Functional and modern

Great location, directly on the Sheppard subway station - you can go both to the downtown or east, towards the Bayview Village and Fairview Mall. I am renting a unit which is very nice though it is not too big from the square footage perspective. It is very functional and modern, very nice finishes, very modern faucets - everything is a bit on the luxurious side.

Amazing location!

(4.3 out of 5 stars)

Without a doubt, it is one of the most recognizable condo projects in Toronto. I really enjoy living here and the neighborhood - Yonge and Sheppard has a plenty of restaurants to go out. The condo unit is not huge but very modern - I enjoy living here and it is very close to my work.

Building connected to TTC

(4.6 out of 5 stars)

Probably one of the best locations in North York, at Yonge and Shepard with access to TTC. You can access TTC without leaving the building. The units are on the smaller side but quite pricy - the location speaks for itself, I guess. Overall, a great place to live with a plenty of amenities. You'll love it, if you are into the modern condo style living.

Very unique building...

(4.3 out of 5 stars)

The Emerald Park condominium is a very unique building with very recognizable curvings on the top. You can feel the structural curvings when you are on the higher floors. It feels that you are falling out of the windows if you lean on the window glass. It makes some units very unique and windows have a slight green tint matching the look of the building. The look of the lobby is very modern. Both condo towers share a gym and a swimming pool which is not great. The pool though is large enough to serve as a shared amenity. The unit layouts are on the smaller end, condos here are quite expensive as dictated by the market as it is a popular condo building and neighbourhood. The unit I have visited has high-end built-in Miele appliances and high-faucets. The unit has 2 separate thermostats which allow maintaining a different temperature in both bedrooms. The living space is a bit small and would have benefited from larger windows.

Love this condo!

I love the shape of the building and elegant look of the unit. Nice layout - I own here a 2-bedroom unit. One washroom has a nice tub and another one - a standing shower. Spacious walk-in closet and decent size bedrooms. The view from the balcony is amazing. It is also convenient for me from the location standpoint - I work at Yonge and Finch and it is just a couple stops away.

The only good thing is its location

(1.0 out of 5 stars)
by Ava Asadi May 08, 2017
the only thing good about this condo is its location and access to subway. everything in this building has a very low quality. upon the first month of living here our oven and washing machine stopped working. took us two months to fix the washing machine since they had to take it out and the dryer was very heavy and they ended up taking the door out and etc. someone fixed the oven but it stopped working again a week after and we just gave up. the apartment is very cold even though we increased the temperature to 80. we just got used to it. the hardwood under the doors is coming off and there are a lot of stains on the hardwood even though we are very clean family. they don't clean the windows enough and the floor plans are terrible. I'm paying 2500 for the rent of a two bedroom but one of the bedrooms is as small as a den and it's completely useless. the unit is very very small and the elevators are very slow. don't even get me started on the fire alarms and how terrible the management is. the lobby is pretty small and ugly and you have to pay for visitor parking. I definitely won't suggest this building to anyone and will move from here as soon as find something else. I have been living in 3-4 condos in this city and by far I have never seen anything like this building.
