In the heart of Distillery District

(5.0 out of 5 stars)

If you like Distillery District and its vibe, you will love living here. I was a bit skeptical when I moved in but have not regretted by decision since. The location is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G - you live literally in the middle of the Distillery District but at the same time enjoy your privacy. My loft has almost a 180 degrees lake view and I never get tired of this perspective. I can also see very well the downtown with its skyline. The building itself is very well maintained with a bright gym and beautiful party room / terrace. My friends love hanging out here after a few drinks in the Distillery District. The location is also very central – many restaurants, breakfast places and bars are within walking distance. The neighbourhood can be a bit crowded during large events e.g. Christmas Market, Night Light Show or in summer on long weekends but it does not bother me. The unit itself is very comfortable and spacious, without too much of the industrial loft feeling. I’d totally recommend living here.

Great building & amenities

(4.0 out of 5 stars)

The building is excellent with great amenities. I especially like the extra tall entry doors which is something you rarely see in condos. The location is a little off the beaten path for some, but once the West Don Lands is developed it will be a great area. The interior finishes could have been better as they look a bit on the cheap side.

Great amenities

(5.0 out of 5 stars)

Well maintained common areas with great amenities (the rooftop pool and hot tub with the city skyline as a backdrop is something special). The podium loft units are particularly nice (10ft exposed concrete ceilings, oversized doors, not the typical shoebox). The Distillery is somewhat isolated, but still just a short walk from the King St street car and is serviced by the 72A Pape bus route. It's far enough removed from the hustle and bustle of the core yet close enough to still be easily accessible.

SMALL units

(3.0 out of 5 stars)
by Anonymous Feb 02, 2017
I viewed a unit here the other day. The unit itself was very small, but the 10 ft high ceilings were a nice feature. The building is in an excellent location and looks quite nice from the outside. The inside is a different story. The building is a number of years old and it shows. The carpet is a light blue and very dirty. It either needs to be cleaned or replaced. The walls are white and dirty. Need to be repainted. The patio is girls gone wild. I would have loved it as a 20 year old. In the elevator I was greeted with guys holding beers and drunk loud talkers. Completely turned me off of the building. This is just based off of my limited time in the building. It may be a great place. I just don't really like the out of control patio parties and such. More like a dorm than a high end condo. Will give it another look and maybe change my mind.
