We love Electra

(4.0 out of 5 stars)
by James J. Feb 20, 2018
We have been living here for 5 years now. We initially fell in love with the living space / floor plan and the neighborhood. We own a 2 bedroom / 2 storey suite with a mezzanine bedroom above overlooking the living space below. We enjoy the very grand open look and high ceilings. The suite features some exposed concrete ceilings and walls and extremely large windows. The condo management is good; we have never had any issues. I am a big fan of the neighborhood for all the restaurants, cafes, bars, clubs, art galleries all within close walking distance.

One of the better-built condos

(4.0 out of 5 stars)
by Joshua Shang Jul 09, 2017
One of the better-built condos in this strip. Because it was built at the start of the boom, the units are generous and spaces practical. Plenty of visitor parking, which seems to be a premium by today's standards. One caveat, ensure the train noise will not be a problem for the south-exposed units - Go is expanding their airport run to 15 minutes on business hours, but if you work 9 to 5, it should not bother you - check the schedule though.

Good location

(3.0 out of 5 stars)
by Dan McPhee May 16, 2017
Positive: Pretty good location, outside of the crazy part of king street west, but close enough to get your fix on a friday night. Most if not all units are 2 levels... so for a single person, a pretty cool space. Not so positive: Outdoor space is limited. Parking spaces are tandem, so you have to move the girlfriends car before you get your porche!

Great location

(3.0 out of 5 stars)

Solid building within walking distance of Queen St West and Liberty Village. Although to get to the latter, you'll have to walk either west to Atlantic Ave or east to Strachan Ave. There are, however, plans to build a pedestrian and cyclist bridge from the western edge of Douro St over to Western Battery Rd. This would really improve connectivity and almost make this building feel like it's part of Liberty. Currently, this stretch of King doesn't have much of a buzz to it.

Quiet building

(5.0 out of 5 stars)
by Anonymous Feb 07, 2017
I love my condo unit, been in the building since 2004 (2nd owner). Even though it's on King Street the building itself is quiet, I never hear my neighbours. The unique character with a 2-story loft and low amenities is what attracted me to this building and have kept me here ever since. Structurally it is sound and never had any issues with cracks, leaks etc. I feel very fortunate, given all the reviews I've read of the buildings going up in the last few years. We have a solid Board of Directors and owners actively participate in annual meetings, demonstrating their interest in wanting the property to be well managed. Good Property Management and on-site Superintendent, professional and respectful. With the City Market grocery story now across the street, banks, dry cleaners etc., it's really easy to do your errands.
