If you've got cash, then it's hard to beat the Candy Factory for location and style. Originally built in 1890, it was converted in 1998 and remains one of the most-loved and sought-after authentic loft buildings in Toronto. Great facilities include a gym, concierge, party room, guest suite and shared rooftop terrace. Two-storey penthouses (complete with circular staircases and oodles of character) don't come up for sale very often but they are spectacular.
