Iconic

One Of Toronto's most iconic hard Loft Conversions! I live in a very spacious sub Penthouse. I love the floor to ceiling windows. Original concrete floors throughout with 10 + Foot ceilings. Unobstructed views with amazing sunsets. Fairly modern kitchen with loads of storage space. The builders grade quartz counter tops are amazing! the kitchen also has extended upper cabinets & undermount double sink. Ideal Location, and only steps to Islington Subway station, Hwy 427, Shopping, Sherway & Bloor St.

awesome location

Overall, I'm very happy with my choice to live in this building. I love the tall ceilings, lots of windows and loft feel. Personally, I find it's a great location for anyone who doesn't want to be in the downtown core while still having great access to the rest of the city using the subway right across the street. You are also just a couple short minutes away from major highways, and if you like to be active outside, you're not too far away from the Humber river trails.

While the building was actually built in the 1970s as a Bell office building, it was only retro-fitted a few years ago so everything is still new and well kept. The added benefit to this is the floors, columns etc are all thicker than most new construction you'll find today so it's not often you hear your neighbours.

While this building doesn't have a ton of amenities, the hot tub, steam room, gym, party room and rooftop patio cover anything I'd want/need while keeping maintenance fees lower than similar units I was looking at while searching for a condo.

The south and east-facing views from the top half of the floors provide a great, unobstructed view of the downtown skyline and lake. Another benefit of this location is that the units facing south overlook a residential area, so it's highly unlikely that you'd ever get another building going up that will block your view.

There are a few minor issues that keep me from rating this building 5 stars. Since the building is a retro-fit, there are a kinks that still need to be worked out, however the property managers and board of directors are working with Alterra (the developer) to address these problems.

If you're looking for a place on the subway line in the west end, I think you'll be hard pressed to find a better value.
