Great Building and Community

(5.0 out of 5 stars)

I lived there for 5 years and only have good things to say. Very well managed, great staff and concierge, friendly community and safe building. It's a quiet building inside and out. I never heard any of my neighbours, or the elevators (there are many and they are fast). I never saw any issues with the dog park behind the building. Beautiful lobby and activity rooms. Good gym, sauna and other amenities. A lot of activities, like book club and yoga+ classes. Wonderful BBQ terrace. The units are designed well and are quite different. Spectacular views from many units. Long hikes in the ravine just minutes from here, while only 15 minutes to the core of the city. I'd live there again if I could.

Love this building

I love this building - it is run very well. The concierge and security are some of the best I have seen in Toronto; they are very friendly, helpful and professional. The gym is decent, and so are the other amenities. I have been living here for over 3 years and have been seeing steady improvements in the area. Would be ideal if the gravel park was actually grass. The gravel park used to have dog poop issues but not anymore. The elevators are fast and I haven't had any noise issues at all (I have a corner two bedroom). It is located close to both the bloor and yonge subway lines, with a library/community center across the street. Very convenient location for commuters.

Very well run building

Lived here for a couple years. Very well run building and kept in good condition. The property management runs a tight ship and that's what you need in a condo. A good amount of visitor parking as well but gets full on the weekends. The outdoor patio is nice as well. Noise is OK. I had an issue with neighbor next to me, but I think the issue was more with her than with the actual construction of the building. Never had a noise issue with any other neighbors. I heard higher floor units (some separated with steel studs and drywall and NOT with concrete) have had noise issues. So if it's a higher floor 1 bedroom unit you're looking at then do your research. The builder split up bigger 2 bedroom units into 1 bedroom units when the bigger units couldn't sell. Another issue is the gravel park to the south which has become a giant litter box full of dog poop. A lot of dog owners do not pick up after their dogs! Area is a little dodgy but getting better. A lot of families and older people sprinkled with some students.
