Good units, brutal management

(2.6 out of 5 stars)
by Sam Aug 07, 2021
As it seems to be a common theme, I would have to agree with other reviewers. I am a relatively new resident and the move-in / elevator process was terrible. The daytime concierge is rude, arrogant and impossible to deal with. Their attitude and lack of help left me in tears during my move-in, to be honest. I now only interact with security/concierge when I absolutely have to and avoid the day-time/weekday security at all costs. It’s definitely disappointing as otherwise, this is a lovely building, but if you are looking for a friendly face to greet you on your way in to go home, you will not find that here.

Property Management inadequate

(2.6 out of 5 stars)
by Concerned resident Jun 16, 2021
Inadequate property management service; they do not pick up the phone or follow through with service requests for Infinity1 at 30 Grand Trunk Crescent. The property manager behaves in a condescending way, provides vague responses to inquiries about information and when asked for specific information, dodges the questions (very rude). I don't think this person understands customer service basics. They appear to be good at reminding residents of the condo rules while demonstrating zero self-responsibility in their own job functions. I hope this type of attitude gets addressed.

Roland Management is HORRIBLE

(2.0 out of 5 stars)
by David Apr 22, 2021
The units are new and have a great layout, however, the property management run by Roland is TERRIBLE. Roland ignores emails and service requests yet bombards your inbox with general announcements & requests. There was a 2 week period where only 1 elevator was functional (out of 3) and you would have to wait a minimum of 20-30 minutes. Roland's solution was to take the stairs up 10 stories. I've lived here for almost 2 years and have only seen the windows cleaned once, there is residue growing on all windows. Roland ignores all requests to get them cleaned. The condo temperature is always either too hot or way too cold depending on the season. I would think twice about living here solely because of the management. They have no pride in ownership and find every opportunity to put the blame on the residents rather than solve the issues at hand.

Horrible management!!!

(1.3 out of 5 stars)
by Vigh Apr 19, 2021
It started off with trying to schedule the elevators... they were so difficult and impossible to deal with such a simple request... my god I work in the rental industry and I'm just shocked at the lack of quality in condo management and professionalism my management company displays... They are severely incompetent. I've started meeting residence in the elevator as I go to and from work - and everyone gives the impression they hate the management but don't know what to do about it... if I knew about such a scenario I would have never moved into this building horrible service. It feels like I don’t have a say in this building. If you are leasing or buying a unit I would recommend not to buy in this building because the management is going to cause a lot of problems as you try to rent or live in this building. Really unhappy with this place and would recommend it to my worst enemy!!!

Worst Management - 19 Grand

(3.0 out of 5 stars)
by Anonymous Jan 07, 2021
This review is for 19 Grand Trunk Crescent - Building has nice layouts, apartments are spacious. But management doesn't listen, they don't hold any resident meetings, threaten and remove people from their Facebook groups whenever someone says anything. You will almost never get a reply to your email. Maintenance is really bad, there are frequent water cuts and each time pressure in your tap will change. Day-time concierge is a real pain to deal with. He is rude and arrogant, will never help you with anything. There have been lots of complaints against him but he has befriended board members, so even after 90%+ people complaining about him, the board has taken no action. My landlord and apartment were really nice but it's a terrible environment to live in where you have to struggle for anything needed from building management/front desk. This is the sole reason I left and can not recommend this building to anyone.

What you should know.

(2.0 out of 5 stars)

Pros: - Centrally located (close to pretty much everything); Cons: - Although being in the centre of the action was appealing at first, but the noise/traffic/crowds in the area becomes grating after a while - The building feels cheaply constructed/finished - Got the impression that this was not the best managed building (improperly trained concierges, poorly written resident correspondences from the management office, simple things like light bulb replacement slow to be addressed).

Great location

Great location, maintenance and parking fee is reasonable. The condo management could be somewhat better.
