Horrible building

(1.0 out of 5 stars)
by Kinson Dec 02, 2019
I moved into the building in July 2016 (when it was first constructed) and I wish I had never done so. Elevators constantly break down (at least weekly). Management is in no rush to fix elevators or anything in that manner. It's December now, and one elevator has been out of service since the spring! There were huge floods in the building due to management neglect, causing elevators to be down for multiple days and forcing all residents to use stairs. Heating, air conditioning, hot water, water pressure all go out and are out for WEEKS at a time. Managements response to the heat being out for 2 weeks last winter was "get a space heater we live in Canada". Garbage chute has not worked since day 1. Mould in the building. No garage door for over a month so that anyone can enter the building. Lazy security that are not present or are sleeping at the front desk. This building is less than 4 years old and is falling apart. Needs new management asap!

What a worst condo!

(1.0 out of 5 stars)
by Mother Apr 06, 2019
I have been living in this condo since August 2018. Since then I got numerous emails about heating and hot water and elevator issues, every week or twice a week. Especially, this harsh winter there were a lot of heating and hot water problems. This morning I've just got another email. Urgent Announcement Dear Residents on the 4th, 3rd and 2nd floors. We are currently experiencing a hot water distribution problem due to issues with the pressure regulating valves on the 5th floor. We have placed a call for emergency service. Updates will follow shortly I cannot help writing all these critical issues and let all the people know about this condo. I still remember my moving experience badly. I bought a lot of stuff from IKEA and park my car P5 and carried them in front of P5 elevator door. It never comes down to me. As a result, It took over an hour and a half hour to carry all. I went to the front desk to ask what happened with the elevator, and the staff said very arrogantly "you just carry them"! That's from P5 to the 3rd floor. I had to over 10 times up and down all the stairs. There was no notice about the "Out of order the elevator" I almost cried. Now nothing changed. Anybody knows how can I get some compensation from all these difficulties? I am thinking that I may contact the landlord or the realtor or the management department? I wish nobody should suffer like me. Remember, the condo problems keep maintaining the whole my resident period from the beginning until now.

POORLY Managed

(3.6 out of 5 stars)
by Prem V. Dec 05, 2017
I have heard the rumors about the management staff beings racist until I experiences it myself. I have seen coloured resident owners being treated like stranger that have walked in from the street. Mean while, I have seen people waiting around the front door waiting for someone with a fob key to enter so they can sneak in.

Overall, the building is still a great purchase. The amenities are great.. there was a water leak from rain in the gym which has now turned into mold and the management staff has yet to deal with this matter after countless reminders.; just bad maintenance staff who dont care. The elevator problems of the past have been improved but still not the best.

I have also seen many residents complaining of missing parcels.
