great building

(5.0 out of 5 stars)

This is a great building! Right behind Tip top and not as expensive, but just as nice if not nicer! Great views of the lake, great amenities, friendly staff, Wi-Fi in the lobby for those that live here, and great fit and finish. If you want to live in this area make sure you take a look at this building.

Reasonable

(5.0 out of 5 stars)
by Anne Marie Lorusso Sep 17, 2017
Great south facing suite in this building for a surprisingly reasonable rent. There is a parkette or green space (from the road to the marina) between this building and the one immediately to the south of it, so not only will she have a nice view of the marina but there was quite a distance (and all green) to the next building. Unlike many buildings where you face an adjacent building, she won't be watching their televisions or seeing watching while they cook their dinner. I agree that the immediate neighbourhood is a bit isolated and public parking can be a challenge but the beauty of the waterfront, the quiet and the proximity to downtown make up for it. The suites are inclusive of heat, so you only pay hydro in this building. At the time of this post, there are other reasonably priced suites for rent.

This is a party building

(1.0 out of 5 stars)

The other negative reviews are spot on.  This is a party building and there is virtually no soundproofing - you can hear EVERYTHING.  There are suites on different floors occupied by people who are friends, all equally as rude and inconsiderate of their neighbors - they go from apartment to apartment partying - even on weeknights and usually well into the morning of the night after.  Weekend partying starts around 2:30 a.m. when they get home from the bar and wraps up around 9 a.m. the next morning (if you're lucky). If you value quiet and your sanity my recommend would be to look elsewhere. There's a reason rent's so cheap!

Worst building

(1.0 out of 5 stars)
by Anonymous May 07, 2017
This is the worst building I have ever lived in. Noise insulation is almost none existence, people are constantly blasting their music and partying and I can hear everything through my door and my wall. Complaints to managements are meaningless as they fail to take any meaningful action.

Heavy traffic around

(3.0 out of 5 stars)
by Anonymous Mar 19, 2017
The good: Location, views, amenities, appearance.Front desk staff helpful and friendly. Maintenance staff very helpful and friendly. Gym is very basic but functional. Other amenities are nice. The bad: Management staff are unhelpful and very passive aggressive. Generally crappy attitudes. Units aren't very soundproof and you can hear every word said in the hallways. The ugly: Condo association aren't very engaged. They did replace the front desk company (a good thing) but they don't add any value. Traffic traffic traffic. During the CNE don't bother trying to go anywhere other than on foot. Construction also has a huge impact on local traffic. There are about a dozen guest parking spots for the entire building and I swear the parking ticket people work on commission. Don't bother having company unless they come by foot, taxi or bus. All the guest parking spots are usually gone by 6pm Friday and stay occupied until Monday.
