Extremely pleased

(4.0 out of 5 stars)
by Ron Struys Jul 16, 2017
I have a client who purchased a 2 bedroom suite at King Plaza which is rented to 2 professionals. Both my client and the occupants are extremely pleased with the building location, quality of maintenance and management. The elevators have recently been upgraded, a number of hallways have been updated and generally the condominium board ensures a well run building. I am taking another client to see a unit this building this weekend.

My client like the location and the fact that the units are a good size compared to new condominiums. With a building of this age, the floor to ceiling height is unfortunately 8 feet.

Looks tattered

(3.0 out of 5 stars)
by Condo Buyer Jun 11, 2017
Yes, this building looks tattered with the faded green and dirty windows on the outside and the old doors with the old school round doorknobs which scream "replace me!" BUT agree with agent Ron regarding good layouts and sizes of the units for the sq. footage price. Yes, the ceiling is only 8ft tall but really unless you are over 6ft tall- not a big deal. Security guy could not be bothered to help my agent in the least bit which was not attractive but at least the elevator was attractively updated and quick to service us. The gym is a JOKE. Location is great, super close to TTC King Station and streetcar right outside your buidling. Can't beat that on a cold Toronto winter evening when you have to go somewhere by TTC. Also, METRO is super close and SLM is right around the corner.

Poorly maintained

(1.0 out of 5 stars)
by Anonymous Feb 06, 2017
I was on the rooftop patio at the Albany Club a few weeks ago and basically spent 2 hours staring directly into the south facing units of this building. I couldn't help it - they were directly in front of me.

This building is tired. It looks old and poorly maintained. Anyone know if the windows are going to be replaced anytime soon? They look like they're on their last leg.
