Great atmosphere

(4.3 out of 5 stars)
by Masoud I. Nov 21, 2017
The best I ever made! I LOVE IT HERE. great atmosphere and crowd. The amenities are top notch. I use the gym 3-4 times a week and its never crowded unlike the gym membership I was paying for. The building is very well managed and super clean / new.. even though its 7 years old now. My units floor plan is great; I like that the kitchen has its own area and not in the open to your living space.

Poor quality, high price

(1.0 out of 5 stars)
by Alexander Evans Aug 22, 2017
This building is a joke. The front entrance is nice, but... The first thing I noticed that I can't believe is that they only have 3 elevators. Talk about cheaping out. For 36 floors and for the amount of suites there should be at least 4 in a building this size. I live in a 26 story building that has 3 and I used to live in a 46 story building that had 5 so I think 4 would be a good number. I recently looked at a penthouse suite in this building. I can't put into words how poor this place was. Carpets in the bedrooms? Really? At this price point there should be real hardwood throughout, its the same garbage you see in any one of the other buildings in this massive apartment building complex. The fit and finish were laughable along with the quality of the materials they used. The construction quality and the wood used on the staircase looked like something you would see in a house built in the '80s in Scarborough or Mississauga. They installed one of those narrow built-in fridges, you know the same ones they but in studios and 1 bedroom units and this is for a 3 bedroom penthouse? Again comparable units at this price point typically have much larger and more high-end kitchen equipment. The kitchen lacked any kind of refinement and didn't have a eat in counter which given the size of the unit should have been included. The bathrooms are what you would see anywhere else but again for a penthouse unit one would expect something over and above the usual. These buildings were not meant to least and it shows. Building such as this would have received a higher level of craftsmen ship and finishes.

The finishing quality is great

(5.0 out of 5 stars)
by J T Apr 18, 2017
The architectural, mechanical and electrical quality of materials and construction workmanship are superb in these buildings, and there were no significant defects during the first four years of my ownership - unlike other buildings that have boilers or cladding replaced or leaking windows - this building had no defect replacements. The finishing quality is great - look closely at the caulking and painting - it was all taped before the paint and caulk was applied to floors, walls and counter - unheard of in residential construction. All flooring and tiles were professionally installed and the workmanship shows. The amenities are the best you can get anywhere, and the property management and security are responsive and sensitive to occupant concerns. Garage and window cleaning occur twice per year. Construction was only completed about one year ago, and it was constant cleaning for the hard-working staff here and they are constantly working hard. Property management is doing a great job enforcing all bylaws, equally for those related to noise and littering. The building is becoming quiet, cleaner and the community is beginning to take shape. As this building ages, it will outperform other comparable buildings in downtown Toronto and is becoming a great place to live.

Nice amenities, good quality

(5.0 out of 5 stars)
by Anonymous Mar 24, 2017
Good: no build quality issues, no neighbour noise, no broken elevators, no fire alarms at 2 am, convenient location if working downtown, bixi stand nearby, nice amenities, easy to give directions to Bad: noise from the trains can be a bit annoying, window washing apparently does not occur, three elevators is too few

Convenient location

(4.0 out of 5 stars)

My condo at 15 Iceboat was my first experience for condo living. I lived on the 37th floor when the bridge was still under construction. A few good/bad features that I'd like to highlight: amenities are beautiful and new, very friendly security, convenient location and easy access out of city place, new building with all new utilities, only 3 visitor passes a month is not enough, 3 elevators are not enough, waited sometimes 10 minutes to get an elevator.
