very central location

This condo looks like many others in Toronto - the modern building style. But the location is unbeatable at King and Bathurst - close to the Entertainment district, downtown. The waterfront is also walkable through Bathurst street. Plus many great options to go out - pubs, restaurants, clubs. Since the King street has been closed for traffic, it became quieter but still lively. As an extra bonus - the 650 King building has Brioche Dorée cafe on the ground floor - meaning a great option for breakfast or lunch.

Generally a nice building!

(4.0 out of 5 stars)
by Alan Aug 22, 2017
It's generally a nice building. I had a friend who owned a unit there and I did look at a few units there as well. The units are on the larger side many with generous balconies. The finishes are above average and features gas cooking in the kitchen and an a gas outlet on the balconies for BBQs which not many builders offer -- that's why most condos do not allow BBQs on balconies The condo has an excellent strong Board who has been very proactive in addressing building issues and the maintenance fees has been lowered and they managed to keep their fees low since then. The building which originally lacked in any amenities added a decent gym not too long ago. King West has become more and more a very popular place for restaurants, bars and clubs, so I would avoid any units facing King Street as it becomes extremely noisy at night, especially with the traffic, honking taxi cabs, and drunken people leaving the bars.

Well-designed condo complex

(4.0 out of 5 stars)
by Brook Wilson May 13, 2017
This is a really well-designed condo complex that wraps nicely around the heritage buildings at the north east corner of King & Bathurst. I have a friend who lives in the building and he loves it. But like any condo on King West, be prepared for the parties and flood.

Great location, good finishes

(4.0 out of 5 stars)
by Alex Moloney Jan 15, 2017
Located at King & Bathurst 650 King is actually 2 building. 650 King St West & 95 Bathurst. Great location steps to King West entertainment with TTC at your door. It's a LEED certified building which is more "green" and it meant to save money but the condo fees are not really different than other buildings in King West. The finishes are good but many buyers needed to upgrade floor, kitchen cabinets, and tiles in the bathrooms. There is also public parking on the P1 level in this building.
