Original hard lofts inToronto

Loved almost everything about this place... Pros: one of the few true, original hard lofts in Toronto, exposed walls, freight elevators, 14 foot+ ceilings, it doesn't get much cooler than that, some units offer outdoor space and underground parking - next to impossible in Toronto, character, character, character... everything about this building was unique: the neighbors, the units (very few are the same). The area is radically changing and you can be part of the change. From organic butchers to updated public parks, change has come to Leslieville. Cons: it's an old, raw warehouse so heating and cooling is a challenge to be expected. At the time we were there, the parking garage needed lots of work and was very dusty and had poor draining after heavy. That said, big picture, we had unground parking, so not complaining. The neighborhood is changing, so although you don't have everything there now, you will. So don't expect all the frills of Queen west right outside your house - which actually may be a massive pro for you. Summary: If you're looking for a one of a kind spot filled with some of the most unique tenants in the city, this is the spot.
