Convenient location

(4.0 out of 5 stars)

This condo building is situated in a high traffic location that offers lots of conveniences: a food court is conveniently located on the ground floor of the buildings, in walking distance to Chinatown for grocery and food essentials; is within walking distance to the University of Toronto, OCAD, George Brown as well as the teaching hospitals for students and health care workers; is within 5-7 min of a subway station; is within 20-30 min walk to the Eaton Centre and Dundas Square as well as other entertainment and restaurants located on Yonge and Dundas; is within walking distance to Queen's Street, the Scotia Bank theatre, the Art Gallery of Ontario, clubbing, lounging and fine/fancy dining districts; just to name a few. Therefore, if location and convenience are your top priority, this building may be just for you. The building has a relatively small gym (may be no more than 3-4 pieces of machine equipment as well as a relatively small free-weight training rack). The building does not have a swimming pool. A public conference or party room is available and should suffice most weekend and party needs. The ceiling of the flats and suites are not tall (perhaps no more than 9 feet) so if you like tall ceilings this building may not completely satisfy your needs. At night, it is relatively quiet (judging from a 10th floor and above sound perception). The residence in this building is generally composed the young professionals as well as students: there are very few seniors, elderly or young families in this building.

Pros: Quiet and peaceful, lots of young professionals and students, great location close to subway and lots of restaurants/entertainment, very clean and well-maintained, units are large Cons: Parking set up was a major pain. Took days to get my pass running, staff turnover was very high, gym is pretty terrible and no pool or BBQ
